The 49th La Salle and Sacred Heart Old Boys Annual Dinner was held at the newly opened Star City Conference Event Center (I googled, but no official website found). Sacred Heart (Primary School) and La Salle (Secondary School) were missionary schools established earlier then taken over by the La Salle Brothers in 1958. I was in Sacred Heart Primary school (1965 - 1968), then La Salle Secondary (1969 - 1973).

Many were meeting again for the first time since last year's dinner.
A nice bag from Celcom (Malaysian Telco); very useful for mondays! Quite a number of supermarkets in Kota Kinabalu had joined the No Plastic Bag on Mondays Campaign started by the City Council.
The event hall was good-sized (said to hold about 120 tables).
A nice backdrop and the Band "The Hidden Assets". With a name like that, will they be hidden from discovery by a wider audience?
As usual at these events, trying to hold conversations above the noise levels of the band and announcers.
