I last took a photo of the QE Hospital Kota Kinabalu on 9 May 2010. It was announced in the local papers yesterday that demolition had started. The demolition is to be done manually and targetted to be completed by December. I assume there must be a good reason why controlled-explosive demolition cannot be used.
I will try to take a photo from the same spot weekly and see if we can discern the progress.
